Regarding MBA
Hello, I am Nirav Parmar I am pursuing MY MBA from Sunderland University uk. and i have completed my Bachelor in hospitalitry and tourism Management in 2005 in India. I have two and half year experience in hospitality. My questioin is which subject shall i choose Marketing, HR, Finance, or any thing else? and what will help me most in getting a job apart from hotel jobs.Like if i want to get a job in any other field which will be more beneficial? And one more thing that are there a chances of getting good job as a fresher ? how much and where? Kindly please help me i am under lot of stress.. PLease guide me..Thank you..

ur pursuing your mbaMon Nov 02, 2009 04:19 AM 1. speak to your faculty they would guide you well 2.Marketing, HR, Finance, it has to be personal interest, which field you are more comfortable with and interested in 3.if you worked in hospitality industry , you will be preferred there first, as u already have exp in tht industry,but other options r open too, if they match ur profile or if you want a carrier change 4.HR is easiet,marketing is easy, finance is fine 5. if you have worked for 2.5 years, why u want to work as fresher, doesn make sense 6. how much and where would depend on you, how good you are, what has been ur earlier package, your reposnsibilty etc hope this helps man |
