Just Starting Prepations for MBA

Guys, I am in college and pursuing my engineer's degree. I am currently in 3rd year and have one more year to go. I am planing to go in for my MBA in 2011 session without any work experience. I have been an above average student all my life having scored 71% in my 10th and 71.4% in my 12th. English isn't a problem for me, I scored 87 in my 12th exams(the main year of schooling).I think I will finish with about 68-70% in my bachelor's degree. I have average extra-cirriculars but i intent to make for in this field in the coming two years. Also, another thing i would like to tell is that I am the Student-Placment Cell Co-ordinator in my college. I am into sports and have some certificates as well. I would like to know what should be my strategy and what are my chances to get into a good B-School. I am basically intrested either in the US or UK. Please help guys. Also tell wether I have started late. Thanks in advance

1. Finish school.
2. Work for at least two years.
3. During your second year of working, study intensely for the GMAT.
4. Take the GMAT.
5. Apply to schools.

Thanks..but that is what I said.. i don't want to go in for work experience. I want to finish my studies first and then work. That i why i wrote all this, can i still get admission in a good college.

A "college," maybe, but without work experience, not a "good college."

I agree with Ralph.. forget the top tier schools if u want to join MBA right away without work exp and it won't help u much anyways.. my 2 cents
