Job in UK after finishing MBA
Hi All,Fri Aug 14, 2009 10:32 PM i have red so many queries reg uni rankings, uni accreditations... all queries are related to Pre - MBA.. will someone comment on Post MBA,, what are the chances of getting Good job, decent salary. My graduation percentage is 59%, I have 3 years of experience in Capital markets and hedge funds. I have received offer from Leicester Business school – MBA Sep 09 intake. To be frank, I am not that happy to get in to this Uni because I doubt my post MBA career. I have two choice now, 1 – Getting into Leicester, assuming that I will get a job which pays me well to repay my loan. 2 --- Waiting for another year , may be I could get into some other Business school like Glasgow or of same standard as relevant to my profile- By assuming that these uni MBA would fetch me a good job. Please advice. Please let me know, what are chances of getting good job after studying MBA in Leicester uni with good score. Is it worth spending 15150 ponds, what do u comments on ROI, how many days it will take to save 15K pounds under normal conditions in UK. I also have plans to study DBA in UK after repaying my MBA loan. Is Leicester MBA is valued by other uni to give admission for DBA program. Your views, opinions and advises will surely make certain impact on my career. |

i would say dont waste your money. your work experience is fairly good even though you dont say very clear what you do and in what capacity.Mon Aug 17, 2009 10:35 PM the GPA is average is it UK system ?. Try to top up with GMAT are you confident you can get about 650? I would say Lancaster/Strath is ok, Warwick is a bit above your reach but worth trying. Else may be Durham or Cass. |
