Hi people,
should i ve work experience to do MBA in abroad.is that an added advantage??
which is more tough CAT or GMAT??

hi Mythili,

work experience is must , if you want to do MBA in top schools,in USA,Canada, 2 years is must and UK they look for 3 years work exp, also few school take freshers too, which are not top schools, they will consider only your GPA/percentage and you would be studying wid freshers.

GMAT is mandatory only if you want to do MBA in America and canada, which is 2 years MBA.

Europe MBA is 1 year MBA.

for UK/Europe only few schools ask for GMAT,

CAT is recognized only in India, GMAT is globally , GMAT would be an add-on in your application, CAT and GMAT is almost the same when you think how tough it is.

Hi there

Most schools reqire at least 3 years work experience in Europe and there are reasons for this. The GMAT is one hell of a test and I suggest you take a course or buy the book and CD to practise. I would spend 6 weeks preparing for this because the higher the score the more school doors will open. If you score 700 or more and you have the minimum work experience then you can basically choose the school you want, you may get many scholarship offers as well as schools seek out high GMAT performers. Your top 5 schools will not even look at you if you score below 600 on the GMAT which is wrong and discriminating I feel. I do not know much about the other test, but if going to Europe make sure you do the correct GMAT as I know soemone that did an American version and it was not acccepted in Europe.
