Bath vs Aston

I have an offer for the full-time MBA in Bath and in Aston. I have around 7 years of experience and I am working in an consulting company. Bath has a long-term ranking in e.g. FT, Business Week etc. Aston seems to be an actual high flyer - but for how long. I am not from the UK, so I don't know how the reputation of these 2 schools are in reality.

Can anybody help me?

Thanks

In reality, they're very close academically, and I don't think there's really any way to gauge whether one is better than the other.

I would also take into consideration each school's location, as you'll find one may suit you over the other, and you'll be spending a year of your life there. Bath is smaller but has tons of history and Roman architecture, and Birmingham is bigger and perhaps livelier, depending on who you talk to, of course.

I think so too. Non of them are 1. tier schools, but their MBA programme seems to be in good position, globally.

Hi Jozem,

If those are your options, I would rather go with Bath. The Business School is highly regarded in the UK and the city is such a nice place. Aston, is OK, but it is not well known outside of the UK and probably as soon as you get a glimpse of The University of Birmingham, which has a very nice and large campus, I don't think you will like the idea of studying at Aston anymore.

Cheers,
