Hi Sandesh, I have also got admission in MBA at Swansea University for session 2009-10. I am planning to go to Swansea as it is having lesser fees with respect to other universities. In addition, It is AMBA accredited as well and a well reputed and old University of UK. Its rank has also gone up in the recent past. I would advise you to take admission over there. We will prove ourselves in Swansea. I think Swansea is a better option than Glamorgan for sure. Please contact me if you wish in the below mentioned email.

Sandesh,
I think if you do not deposit the prior 2000 pound which is required for getting Visa Support Letter by 3rd July i.e withing 28 days of getting the offer letter your candidatute may be considered forfieted. So, you really need to speed up the process. Otherwise you may loose this opprtunity at the cost of waiting for other university's offer. I think you are still not confident about your decision. Think twice and think positive. you are really running short of time.

Swansea is probably better but only marginally. if you tried to compare across a range of areas then it would look pretty balanced, but overall reputation is better at swansea.

In terms of employment though, hard to differentiate.

Swansea again. Slightly easier choice this time! reputation, cost of living, safety, quality of life and rankings are all clearly better in Swansea.

Don't forget, middlesex has north london campuses. not ideal when you look for affordable accommodation and good quality at the same time. If you want to see london centre, then you can also go for a day trip or an overnight...

Hi Jamie,
Please tell me about the employment prospects at Swansea. I have already have MCA(3 years Master's degree programme) and M.Tech.(Computer Engg.) degrees and having 8+ years of experience in the area of Software/Computers. Now I want to shift towards the managerial position with bang. This is the reason I want to pursue my MBA at this time of recession and want to get my self ready for any upcoming challenge.

Probably best to ask Swansea directly about this. I am sure that they will have someone in careers who will be able to talk to you. It will be competitive for you to get straight in to management though. Indian, with an IT background is not a rare combination, so expect to do a lot of leg work yourself to get a good job.

Hi Sandesh,
What have you decided about Swansea University? Whether you have got some offer from the place you were waiting for?

Thanks
