"The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows." So how are you gonna roll? Are you going to let life tell you what to do, or are you going move forward? Are you, in short, going to play close attention to this week's survey of the best (and some of the rest) of the MBA blogosphere?
01. "Hoboken - you're fired!" With the end of his time at Yale School of Management in sight, the MBA Gladiator comes over all Donald Trump. Pay attention, too, to the quote from Rocky. Further proof, if proof were needed, of the genius of Sylvester Stallone. Roll on Rambo 2008!
02. Benny, an MBA student at Tuck School of Business isn't as observant as he thought he was. Nor were we, but can you do any better?
03. MaybeMBA at Chicago GSB has some advice for the ladies: if in doubt, DON'T MARRY AN MBA MAN! Especially when you can hire someone to fulfill all your non-MBA needs instead.
04. As anyone who's watched Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Twin Peaks, and countless other series from the very beginning can testify, pilot episodes are invariably strange beasts, often bearing only a distant relationship to the real thing. Howdy, at Texas A&M University, has put together an interesting pilot for what may turn out to be a regular thing. You can check out the first episode here.
