By Maren[FIND MBA] in FIND MBA Blog on Feb 3, 2008

While the FT MBA rankings have prompted wild celebrations in some quarters - and wailing and hair-pulling in others - we take our regular look at what's on the blogs. We've got fire, ice, a hot stud's video tribute to himself, and an ice-maiden who just might be the next US president. Add a twist of dancehall. Stir and enjoy!

01. TheSocialistCaptitalist at the Rotman School of Management tries to explain why her school fell 13 places in this year's FT rankings. Meanwhile, St. Gallen MBAer Stuart Little attempts to puts things in broader perspective, and concludes that not only is Europe invading the rankings; Asia is also on a crusade!

02. Wim, who's doing his MBA at INSEAD, and 74 of his closest friends, went to Phuket. Here are the photos (servant not included).

03. Gabriel has come up with a way both to show us pictures of his recent ski trip and to discuss the economics of snow in Andorra.

04. For CS, an Israeli MBA student at Harvard Business School, this was the week that hell officially froze over.

05. It's amazing what you can find just be typing "MBA" into youtube. Here's Hillary explaining why countries can't be run like a business. And here's Sumit living life "Kingsize." Whim on me! Oh, and this.

I like big budgets, and I cannot lie
