New program's curriculum to cover business, technology, innovation

Jul 23, 2013

Cornell, Ithaca NY

Cornell University's Johnson Graduate School of Management has announced that it will launch a one-year MBA program in New York City, beginning in May 2014.

The program will cover a mix of business and technology, with a focus on innovation. Courses range from business essentials such as a class in "Leadership" to those that are more technology-focused, such as "Big Data/Data Analytics," and those that cover entrepreneurship - "Design Thinking," for example.

The bulk of the program will take place at Cornell's new New York City location, "Cornell NYC Tech," which is located on Roosevelt Island. The first class will begin studies in Ithaca, and then move to the NYC location for two semesters.
