Imperial College London Sheds "Tanaka" in Business School Name

School now called Imperial College Business School

Oct 6, 2008

As of this month, the business school of Imperial College London (formerly known as Tanaka Business School) has officially changed its name to Imperial College Business School. According to the university, the change is meant to emphasize the links between the business school and larger university.

The name of the building that houses the business school will continue to be called the "Tanaka building" after benefactor Gary Tanaka.

Despite the name change, the courses on offer, however, remain the same: an MBA, EMBA, and distance learning MBA, along with a number of business- and finance-oriented Masters of Science (MSc) courses.

Imperial College Business School will also be hosting two upcoming information sessions on campus for prospective MBA and EMBA students on October 25 and November 12.

For more information, please visit the school's website.
