Business for Human Rights Conference at University of Geneva on September 5

The University of Geneva will be hosting "The Role of Business in Respecting and Promoting Human Rights Conference 2007" on September 5 in Geneva. According to the conference website, the one-day conference "will bring together students, academics and other leading figures from civil society, government, business and the international community to share experiences and perspectives for how companies are using a human rights framework to ensure that business activities yield a positive social impact."
Along with the International Organizations MBA Program at the University of Geneva, a number of other organizations are supporting and participating in this conference, including the International Labour Organization, the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, the International Chamber of Commerce Switzerland, the Canadian Foreign Ministry, and the University of California San Diego.
